What you will do
Service Engineer Lead - Security (CFS) is a key role reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Dubai. The Aftermarket CFS team carry out service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Security Management Systems (SMS) and Controls used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries including commercial, retail and hospitality.

As a Service Engineer you will Lead , Execute & Manage independently Retrofit Projects, Maintenance Contracts, Commissioning, replacing the controllers and you will be responsible for the onsite system verification, PPM activities, testing & commissioning of additional doors/cameras, Upgradations, service reports of Security Management Systems (SMS) and manage overall team of technicians and subcontractors on roster based 24/7 duty shift plan. Moreover, you will use Technical & Project Management Skills to ensure Contracts are executed within deadlines and budget. 

Service Engineer will play a key & Front Facing Role in customer meeting, Proposing Designs and Solutions catering to the needs of the customer with Financials acumen of Projects. 

As a Service Lead, you must have latest & Advance knowledge of security system products electronics/Networking Systems, AI & Digital Solutions etc... You are hands on, programming controllers, installing & commissioning of various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms, Visitor Management Systems, Speed gates, Car Park barriers, Bollards, ANPR, Integrations, Virtualization, Level 3 Network Certifications, Test third party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by always maintaining a high standard of safety

•    Working as a Project lead / technical lead in design, install, configure, commission, program and test of security systems which includes access control system, video surveillance system (CCTV), ANPR, facial recognition, intercom, barriers, visitor management etc.
•    Involved in integrations of security systems with different types of subsystems.
•    Did several database level migrations from legacy access control to latest P2000 and CCure9000.
•    Configured P2000 automated customized reports from database as per the client requirements 
•    Involved in video guard integrations with video management systems from different manufacturers.
•    Did successful commissioning of newly introduced security systems without having experience on it and local support. Have a good sense of emergence to adapt to newer technological advancements. Always on the look to induct newer ways of operations and implementations.
•    Escalation points on technical issues and provides coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to team members and clients. 
•    Coordinate with client’s IT team to understand their IT & network requirements and implement the same.
•    Involved in Database level integration as per the client requirement.
•    Focal point for client, sales, manufacturer to achieve the required solutions to fulfil the client requirements.
•    Planning and implementing of gigabit Ethernet LAN and WAN infrastructure for an enterprise solutions.
•    Analyzing the network Infrastructure on regular basis, based on analysis recommend the solutions & then implement them to overcome the bottlenecks in performance of electronic security system so as to keep the network and systems running on optimum level always.
•    Installing, upgrading, configuration, patching, tuning and administering Microsoft windows-based servers, SQL database servers and different types of storage servers.
•    Configuring and maintaining a system for high availability by using different types of server redundancy solutions and failover solutions.
•    Plan, test and implement database replications, backup strategies and ensuring scheduled and unscheduled backups as per the backup plan.
•    Investigate and perform necessary diagnostic procedures and resolve complex technical issues pertaining to hardware, operating system & database by using software and hardware diagnostic tools.
•    Supports team in all aspects through technical expertise on systems, networks and security products & applications.

How you will do it
As a Service Engineer you will use your strong technical knowledge in Security & Networking systems to execute site surveys and carry out full dilapidation reports, inspecting all Security and Low voltage systems and recommending system enhancements, upgrades and replacements as necessary. As an experience Service Engineer, you will understand the customer requirements and concerns by meeting them on regular basis and provide them required technical services and repair for Security systems, Databases & Networking.

What we look for
Required     
•    Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical /Electronic engineering or equivalent
•    Minimum 7 Years’ Experience with programming, installation, Commissioning & Servicing of Various Brands CCTV systems (Milestone , Pelco , SAFR, RAVATAR, Avigilon , Bosch, Genetec, Vision ,Victor) , Intercom systems and software(Zenitel, Stentofon & Commend,Etc), Intrusion detection Systems , ANPR systems, Guard Tour Systems & Access Control systems (P2K, C CURE, & CEM ACS Applications).
•    Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on access control & CCTV Systems Integration with Visitor Management, Intercoms, Fire, Bollards, Speed gates and Intrusion Systems,
•    Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Integration of SQL databases with different applications.
•    Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on high level Integration with Lifts, Thermal Cameras, RFID readers & Perimeter detection systems.
•    Proven knowledge and experience in preparing SIRA submittals and requirements are required for the candidate.
•    Certifications are mandatory – Project Management, Milestone, AI , Network CCNA, SIRA etc. 
•    Proven technical knowledge and experience of Speed gates & Road Blockers
•    Proven technical knowledge and experience of clustered servers (Windows & Database) and Stratus ever Run, VMware platforms, Networking.
•    Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.
•    Focal point for client, sales, manufacturer to achieve the required solutions to fulfil the client requirements.
•    Technical knowledge in working with UPS systems.
•    Investigate and perform necessary diagnostic procedures and resolve complex technical issues pertaining to hardware, operating system & database by using software and hardware diagnostic tools.
•    Supports team in all aspects through technical expertise on systems, networks, and security products & applications.
•    Knowledge in preparation of Incident reports and Root Cause Analysis reports
•    Candidate should be fluent in English speaking & Writing
