Description de l'emploi

Johnson is seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Architect to join our Global Marketing IT team. In this critical role, you will lead the design and development of exceptional user experiences across our global website platforms. You will collaborate with multiple teams, stakeholders, and business units to create intuitive, user-centric solutions that align with our marketing strategies. With 10+ years of UI/UX architecture experience in large, complex digital environments, you will help shape the future of our platforms—driving innovation, aligning with industry best practices, and adopting emerging technologies to ensure long-term scalability, growth, and success.

Key Responsibilities:

- UI/UX Architecture & Design Leadership:

  • Lead the overall user experience and interface design strategy for global website platforms, ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility across all digital touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain a robust UI/UX design system to ensure uniformity in design across websites and digital properties.
  • Architect user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to align digital designs with global marketing strategies, brand guidelines, and business objectives.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders & Teams:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between global marketing teams, business stakeholders, development teams, and design teams to understand business needs and translate them into user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and global marketing teams to gather and refine requirements, ensuring the design approach aligns with both business goals and user needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on UI/UX best practices, design trends, and how to translate business requirements into intuitive digital solutions.

- Agile/Scrum Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum teams, guiding UI/UX design initiatives throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Work with Scrum teams to ensure that user stories are appropriately defined and that design elements are integrated within development sprints.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure alignment with overall project goals and timelines.

- User Research & Testing:

  • Lead user research activities, including user testing, interviews, and surveys, to gather insights that inform design decisions and optimize the user experience.
  • Analyze user behavior data (via analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to identify areas for improvement and recommend design changes to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to validate design solutions and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.

- Global User Experience Strategy:

  • Architect scalable, responsive, and localized user experiences for a global audience, ensuring the design works across different regions, devices, and cultural contexts.
  • Work with regional teams to ensure that the global design system accommodates local preferences, ensuring a seamless experience across different markets.
  • Advocate for best practices in UI/UX design, usability, and accessibility, ensuring compliance with global accessibility standards (WCAG).

-Mentorship & Leadership:

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior UI/UX designers, ensuring consistent application of best practices across the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative environment, leading the design team to produce innovative solutions that meet business goals while delivering exceptional user experiences.

-Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to design processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality of deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 5 years of experience leading UI/UX architecture for large-scale web platforms in global marketing or enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, development, business analysts, and scrum teams, to create and deliver user-centered solutions.
  • Expertise in UI/UX design principles, including information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, Adobe Design Tools, and other relevant design and prototyping software.
  • In-depth knowledge of web design standards, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG), with a strong focus on mobile-first design.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and how UI/UX design impacts customer engagement, conversion rates, and brand identity.
  • Experience with user research (e.g., usability testing, A/B testing, user feedback analysis) and applying insights to drive design improvements.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a design team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
