What will you do?
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing processes and systems to maximize productivity and efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role focuses on implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, managing projects, and providing technical support to production teams.
How will you do it?
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes.
Design and develop manufacturing workflows, equipment, and processes to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
Prepare cost estimates, project plans, and schedules for new manufacturing projects.
Support the implementation of Lean initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
Train and mentor staff on new processes and tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving to address production issues.
Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies for potential application in operations.
Maintain accurate documentation of processes, standards, and procedures.
Participate in project teams and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
What are we looking for?
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Experience in the HVAC or related industry.
Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
Project Management experience or certifications.
