About the Role
We're seeking a commercially driven Project Surveyor to lead the commercial success of high-value decarbonisation projects. Combining strong financial acumen with excellent client-facing skills, you'll manage commercial risk, maximise profitability, and build trusted relationships that ensure successful project delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage cost and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring financial performance and sustainability targets are met
Produce accurate cost plans, forecasts, and budget reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Identify cost efficiencies that align with decarbonisation objectives
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
Strong cost management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
Solid commercial awareness and financial understanding
Desirable
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS)
Experience on decarbonisation or sustainability‑focused projects
