What you will do

As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in our procurement operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality goods and services. Collaborating closely with suppliers and stakeholders, you will support our commitment to operational efficiency and sustainability. Your proactive approach to supplier management and your ability to negotiate favorable terms will directly contribute to the success of our supply chain strategies.

How you will do it

  • Own outcomes by ensuring all procurement activities align with established safety and integrity standards, safeguarding the organization's reputation and operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and trust to achieve mutual growth and performance improvement.
  • Focus on what matters by effectively prioritizing procurement tasks, removing obstacles that could delay supply chain operations, and maintaining a clear line of communication with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and enhanced supplier partnerships.
  • Improve every day by identifying and implementing process enhancements, leveraging feedback and data to streamline procurement workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate documentation and records of procurement activities.
  • Win as one team by working collaboratively across departments, sharing insights and strategies to drive collective success and uphold our organizational values.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a procurement or buyer role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier contracts effectively.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and software tools is an advantage.
