What you will do
We are seeking a Fire & Life Safety Inventory Control Specialist to support our service operations team by managing inventory, warehouse activities, and parts purchasing. This role ensures technicians have the materials needed to complete inspections, service, and emergency work while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.

This is a hands‑on role critical to service readiness, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction in a regulated fire & life safety environment.

How you will do it

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, and life safety parts

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, organization, and material distribution

  • Track material usage, stock levels, and critical spare parts to support service demand

  • Coordinate purchasing of parts and materials with approved vendors, including tracking orders and deliveries

  • Stage and kit materials for scheduled service work and emergency response

  • Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory audits

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies

  • Conduct routine warehouse safety checks and correct unsafe conditions

  • Communicate material availability, constraints, and lead times to service teams

What we look for
Required:

  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or service parts management

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

  • Proficiency with inventory systems and basic purchasing processes

  • Preferred:

  • Experience supporting fire protection or service-based operations

  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move materials up to 70lbs
Regular work in a warehouse environment

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.05-$29.28(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
