What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Wichita, KS. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. You will be supporting initiatives across a number of engineering functions such as Project Management, Mechanical Engineering and contributions to the design, development, and testing of scalable software applications. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it

Support the Project Manager and Field Team.

Work with experienced engineers to design, specify, bid and install new construction projects

Learn how to manage New Product Design teams through the development process to launch new products on time that meets our customer needs.

Assists in preparing project files and reports, customer presentations, and other customer communication documents as needed.

Assists in development of customer baselines, benchmarks, and project scheduling reporting as needed.

Support team in the preparation of mechanical projects, development, and assist in Rollout and Support of new business opportunities.

Contributes to asset/mechanic systems data collection, process or financial task calculations, and other operational performance engineering modeling during both design and execution management phases.

What we look for

Required

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, 

• Technical proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products

• Currently a sophomore or higher status

• 3.0 or better GPA

• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred

• Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic environment

• Demonstrated problem solving skills require
