ACCOUNTABILITY

Supervise personnel and various manufacturing processes in order to ensure production targets are achieved at specific quality levels in the respective section. Liase, communicate & assist immediate superior on all issues related to production.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Ensure that production operators skills are maintained to the required level to carry out their duties.
• Ensure that process is controlled by implementing the relevant process control chart and working guidance, PQC and relevant check sheets, in order to maintain process control.
• Prepare PQC, PCC & working guidance, as a simplified working instruction for operators to follow.
• Ensure that all measuring equipment, jig and fixture are calibrated according to relevant standards.
• Ensure that all required measurements are carried out in accordance with the procedures and techniques laid down in the working guidance.
• Ensure that any abnormal results are brought to the attention of the engineer and that remedial action is followed up.
• Ensure that adequate stocks are maintained for continuous production.
• Ensure that the production machinery and equipment are well maintained.
• Ensure that the workplace is clean and tidy at all times by following the 5S concepts.
• Ensure that all the necessary reports are forwarded to the correct personnel at the appropriate time.
• Ensure that effective communication to all levels at all times.
• Compilations of quality records for accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare and carry out induction training programs for new operators.
• Take disciplinary action in the event of inefficiency, misconduct or indiscipline of subordinates.
• Control the effectiveness of leave approval for subordinate.
• Conduct training for subordinate based on training need analysis.
