Job Title: Sr. Data Specialist

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka-India  

 

Overview: Johnson Controls is seeking a talented and motivated Sr Data specialist with Data Migration, ETL expertise to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in building and managing the process of transferring data between Salesforce, legacy systems, databases, and unstructured data sources, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, de-duplication and compatibility with the Salesforce environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build, Test and deploy data loads and data migration scripts  

  • Building strategy for repeatable ETL and data processes 

  • Support data extracts, reporting, data management requirements from business and technical stakeholders. 

  • Leading solution designs, providing scalable solutions for real time business scenarios  

  • Participate in all stages of the Agile development process, including PI planning and sprint reviews. 

  • DevOps Integration: Experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline automation. 

  • Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of SAFe Agile frameworks.  
     

Qualifications: 

  • 6-8 years of experience in managing data by using ETL tools like Informatica, Microsoft SSDT, Talend, DBAmp, Data loader, Data loader I/O. 

  • Experience with Salesforce data managment processes is a must. 

  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL ,T-SQL, Perl, creating automation using Windows-batch file scripting 

  • Experience with data cleansing tools like Demand tools, D&B, Address validator etc. 

  • Familiarity in working with cloud-hosted file systems such as AWS S3, Azure Blob storage, Cloudinary. 

  • Demonstrated experience as an IT Quality Assurance professional for small to large projects. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 

  • Coordinating with teams spread across the globe. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Flexible in acquiring new data integration skillsets as recommended in the enterprise.
