What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Boca Raton, Florida. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. join the software engineering team and work as a team member under direction of experienced engineers. You will apply and enhance your engineering skills to develop, test, and support software related products.
How you will do it:
Summer 2025- possibility to stay additional time or repeat the following summer
Tasked with a specific project
Attend provided enrichment/ development sessions
Learning about the general product requirements.
Assisting engineering team with robotics., physical security and AI related work.
Assisting development team with testing and troubleshooting defects.
Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2023 internship
What we look for
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering
Currently a Sophomore/Junior status
Good Academic Standing
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
Demonstrated problem solving skills required
Experience with C/C++
