Technical Sales Manager  (HVAC/Data Centre Solutions)

With a strong footprint in Dublin, Silent-Aire designs and manufactures custom HVAC systems and modular data centres for the world’s largest cloud and colocation providers. What You Will Do

  • Drive New Business: Identify, pursue, and win new Data Centre clients across Europe, focusing on custom HVAC solutions including Air Handling Units, CRAC/CRAH systems, FAN Walls, CDUs, and MDC units.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: From prospecting to closing, manage the full sales process with precision and urgency.
  • Deliver Technical Expertise: Provide consultative sales support, ensuring clients receive tailored HVAC solutions that meet their operational and technical requirements.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Engage with consulting engineers, architects, and data centre stakeholders to position our solutions as best-in-class.
  • Exceed Targets: Consistently hit and surpass monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Stay Ahead of the Market: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and uncover new opportunities.

How You Will Do It

  • Consultative Selling: You combine technical knowledge with a deep understanding of client needs to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal product, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiency & Ownership: You take initiative, manage your pipeline proactively, and ensure every opportunity is maximized.
  • Agility: You adapt quickly to changing client needs and market dynamics, always staying one step ahead.

What We Look For

  • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 3+ years in business development or technical sales, ideally within HVAC, Data Centre or related engineering sectors.
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of HVAC systems and ability to translate technical features into client benefits.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, independent, and driven to succeed.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple priorities with precision and professionalism.
