We are currently seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to support our senior executives in the EMEA region. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within our fast-paced and dynamic organization.

What You Will Do

The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to 2-3 senior-level executives, significantly enhancing their productivity and effectiveness. You will be responsible for managing complex schedules, facilitating communication, and ensuring that leadership has the necessary resources to thrive. Your exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail will be paramount in managing daily tasks and special projects.

How You Will Do It

  • Schedule Management: Efficiently manage and maintain executives' calendars, coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements while optimizing time management and minimizing scheduling conflicts.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and other critical documents for internal and external communications, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in every detail.
  • Liaison Duties: Serve as a key liaison between executives and various stakeholders, including clients, partners, and team members, to facilitate seamless and effective communication across all levels.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize, coordinate, and support meetings and special events, including preparing detailed agendas, taking accurate minutes, and following up on action items to ensure timely completion and accountability.
  • Confidentiality Management: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality in all interactions and documentation.
  • Project Support: Assist with project management initiatives as necessary, contributing to the successful execution of projects and ensuring that all deadlines are met and objectives achieved.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek and implement improvements to administrative processes and systems to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness within the executive office.

What we look for

Required:

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant with approximately 8 years in similar administrative roles, showcasing a robust understanding of executive-level support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and collaborate with individuals across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project management software is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset, with a talent for identifying and addressing challenges swiftly and efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing executive calendars in high-pressure environments, particularly within the corporate sector.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude.
  • In-depth knowledge of office management systems and practices, ensuring consistent adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Experience in a global organization, with a solid understanding of cultural diversity and the capability to work effectively across various time zones.

If you are relocating to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you setup your new life in Slovakia.


The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1900 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
