Position Summary: 
The Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of building systems and facilities. This role ensures a safe, clean, and efficient working environment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting facility-related projects. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical equipment. 

  • Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner. 

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. 

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. 

  • Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and small projects as assigned. 

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and local codes. 

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required. 

  • Support general building upkeep including minor carpentry, painting, and cleaning tasks. 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred. 

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. 

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. 

  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, and work orders. 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

  • Basic computer skills for work order systems and documentation. 

Physical Requirements 

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks required for building maintenance. 

Work Environment 

Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor facilities environment and may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. 

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $40.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
