What you will do

 

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Cranberry Township, PA. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. The Intern will support and assist the Electronic Install Team with any project they are needed on. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

 

How you will do it

  • This will be a full-time Summer 2026 internship
  • Support the team with various sized projects
  • Work onsite with experienced techs
  • Learn to use hand tools, power tools, testers, and other equipment 
  • Assist with running, securing, and labeling wiring
  • Attend provided enrichment/ development sessions 

What we look for

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Trades or a comparable study program
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Capability of using hand-tools and power tools in an efficient safe manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required
  • Demonstrates efficient use of a computer and widely used programs
