Job Scope & Purpose

You will lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of a front-line delivery team (e.g., technicians) to ensure quality service, effective pull-through, and flawless execution of contractual obligations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Foster a motivating work environment that empowers team members to meet or exceed performance targets such as gross margin, pull-through, productivity, and profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including accuracy, timeliness, billing, budget adherence, and legal requirements.

  • Enhance customer satisfaction through effective interpretation of customer requirements and contract terms. Assist in site coordination to optimize productivity and cost efficiency, including participation in site meetings, resource allocation, and contract resolutions.

  • Identify sales leads and change orders through the front-line delivery team.

  • Oversee the completion of estimates and follow up on pull-through orders, targeting gross margin and profitability goals.

  • Recruit, hire, and retain team members to ensure adequate staffing levels.

  • Establish and communicate performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and create coaching and development plans for team members.

  • Ensure front-line delivery teams are trained on safety standards and equipment, promoting a culture of safety in all operations.

  • Provide technical support and coaching as required.

  • Track labor and material costs and revenues to ensure accurate customer invoicing.

  • Make purchasing decisions to facilitate productive and cost-effective operations.

  • Advise technicians on effective inventory and truck stocking practices.

  • Participate in additional responsibilities as may be defined.

Position Requirements

  • Technically oriented education.

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant technical hands-on industry experience.

  • Strong customer focus and technical problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent coordination and management abilities in a project-driven or service environment.

  • Ability to drive accountability and achieve results.
