As an Apprentice Supply/Inventory Planner you will join our high preforming planning team which will see you building new skills, while applying your knowledge to real-world live projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore your potential and you’ll enjoy full support from your line manager.  
 

What You’ll Do at Work 

As the Apprentice Supply/Inventory Planner for the Reverse Logistics team, you will learn and eventually be responsible for placing Service Inventory Purchase Orders and ensuring product availability for repair orders from JCI’s internal and external EMEA customers.

You’ll play a key role within the EMEA PTP Planning team, focused on maintaining adequate stock levels across our Service & Repair departments in the UK and the Netherlands.

You will focus on delivering best-in-class customer service which will involve close collaboration with the Customer Service, Reverse Logistics, and Service teams to ensure timely and efficient fulfilment

You will learn to use SAP and JDE ERP systems. This will allow you to ensure the product is purchased and / or transferred to the correct distribution warehouse and where necessary allocated to the correct repair Orders.

You will support the Customer Service/ Reverse logistics and repair teams by keeping delivery information updated to ensure product is dispatched efficiently and on time for repair requirements.

Level 3 Procurement and supply assistant - leading to Level 4 Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner  
 

Your Training Plan
You will enrol in level 3 Procurement and supply assistant apprenticeship- leading to Level 4 Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner qualification with The Apprentice Academy. You will do your college work on day release but will complete the course remotely.

Requirements / Essential Qualifications 

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential 
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) essential 

 
Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

Salary- £14,723

What’s Next?  
  

Suitable candidates will be contacted via email to provide their evidence of required certifications. Once we receive the evidence of certification you will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position. Afterward, you will be invited to an assessment centre, where you will participate in a practical assessment, meet the team, and have an interview.  

Candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful, they can expect to begin the apprenticeship with Johnson Controls in the late summer of 2025.
