What you will do

Join our team and you will be joining our cause to build a world that’s safe, comfortable, and sustainable. Johnson Controls, you’ll be part of our diverse, distributed team, making an impact by supporting Executive Suite leaders within our  Global Commercial and Field Operations organizations. Our Executive Assistant position will offer you the opportunity to partner with our most senior leaders and support the vision of our organization.  We are looking for someone who is dynamic, experienced, customer-focused, and has strong business acumen. You will have a great track record of success supporting projects and C-Suite or Senior VP leaders.  It is an exciting opportunity and a great time to join us!

You will be ready to showcase your C-level task management, planning and executive assistant experience with particular focus on anticipating needs. You will be an integral part of our leadership team and will manage projects, set appointments, arrange travel, contribute to meetings and provide support services to our leaders.
 

How you will do it

  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage and maintain calendars

  • Prepare and organize presentations for meetings

  • Process invoices, expense reports, other documentation, and records maintenance and retention

  • Coordinate with firms, organizations and individuals from outside the organization

  • Understand business strategy and context to execute projects, including planning, budget administration and resource allocation

  • Coordinate all domestic and global travel and travel expenses and help to prepare event schedules and coordinate with parties as needed

  • Help to coordinate events with communication with internal and external customers

What we look for

Required

  • 5+ years of education and business experience

  • Demonstrated experience using a Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality

Preferred

  • Experience supporting C-suite
