The Salesforce Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of Salesforce solutions within the organization. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and technical architects, to ensure that the delivery meets business needs and adheres to best practices. The Salesforce Delivery Lead will also be responsible for resource management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Guide and motivate teams, facilitate communication, and ensure everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, including integration with other systems and data management strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery related project risks, addressing issues as they arise to keep projects on track.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve project delivery processes and increase efficiency.
  • Promote best practices in Salesforce project delivery and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering; Master’s in Business Administration or Technology Management preferred  
  • 10+ years of experience with 3 years in relevant Business roles and 5 years in relevant IT roles   
  • Solid IT general management skills (organizational, financial, and operational management)  
  • Exceptional leadership skills to achieve outcomes in a heavily matrixed management environment  
  • Experience leveraging the Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid solution delivery methodologies  
  • Adept visionary, strategy creation, and long-term plan realization skills  
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills  
  • Solid experience in Commercial IT systems (examples: Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Pardot or Marketing Cloud, SFDC Configure Price Quote, and e-commerce) 
  • Track record of leading complex IT solution delivery efforts for $1-3 billion businesses  
  • Track record of planning and executing programs to harmonize processes and converge IT systems  
  • Track record of planning and delivering a portfolio of projects in the range of $2-5 million per year  
  • Experience in managing teams consisting of both internal and external personnel in which greater than 70% of personnel are external (ie, outsourced) 
  • Bilingual English / Spanish (must)
