What you will do  

At Johnson Controls in Aarhus, Denmark, we are currently looking for a new Sales Application Engineer, who will be responsible for supporting our internal and external customers with sales solutions, and thus contribute to the continuous development of the organization. Today, Johnson Controls leads the market in the design, marketing, sale, and service of refrigeration plants and heat pumps for industrial, marine, and offshore applications. 

 

How you will do it  

As our new Sales Application Engineer, you will be responsible for offering sales support to our customers and partners around the world. You will become the point of contact for your customers, and you will develop and maintain relations with several stakeholders, including your customers, partners, and our factory. 

In this role, you will touch upon several aspects of the sales process, including preliminary research and support, quotations, design specifications, participation in customer meetings and consultations. Moreover, you will leverage your technical insight into the calculation and design of optimal solutions in collaboration with your customers. 

Joining a close-knitted team of 15 individuals based in our office facilities in Aarhus (Højbjerg), you will enjoy a collaborative work environment where teamwork and mutual support are valued. While travel may be required up to 20 days per year, we offer a flexible work schedule that promotes work-life balance. 

 

What we look for  

  • Degree in Engineering or Machine engineering 

  • The most important qualification is a technical mindset that enables you to understand, advise, and support your customers regarding their technical needs 

  • Effective negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English  

  • Perhaps you have a couple of years’ experience, but not necessarily from sales
