What You Will Do

As a Systems Integrity Representative (SIR) at Johnson Controls, you will play a key role in identifying, promoting, and selling fire products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve monthly and annual sales goals within your assigned territory while ensuring compliance and safety for our customers.

How You Will Do It

  • Sell Fire & Life Safety products and services to address deficiencies identified during Johnson Controls' inspections at customer sites, with an emphasis on fire systems.

  • Review inspection findings and provide timely, accurate quotes to customers for deficiency corrections.

  • Collaborate closely with Service teams—including Inspectors, Technicians, and Service Managers—to develop quotes and proposals.

  • Communicate clearly with customers via phone and email to explain deficiency corrections, pricing, and service options.

  • Obtain commitment from customers to perform required corrections and follow up diligently until completion.

  • Log all customer interactions and track follow-ups on open quotes in company systems.

  • Identify and pass leads for larger projects or complex deficiency corrections to the appropriate Service Sales Representatives.

  • Successfully complete all required training upon hiring.

What We Look For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, CRM, and web-based programs.

  • Two years of inside sales or customer service experience (strongly preferred).

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent follow-up skills when engaging internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Strong communication skills, especially via phone and email.

  • Energetic and positive attitude with a customer-centric mindset.

  • Mechanical or electric field service experience is a plus.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Regular and consistent attendance expected; occasional overtime may be required.
