How you will do it:

Apprentices will be trained and will perform HVAC mechanical equipment and controls on client sites. Will participate in certified training through Service Technical Academy that will build skill sets to provide continued opportunities for recognition, monetary, rewards and advancement. Through coaching and mentorship, develop skill to troubleshoot and resolve both technical issues as well as customer needs. Keeps JCI, contractors, and the customer advised of job progress and issues as needed. Meet attendance requirements for required Union training for first year This is a Bargaining Union Position.

What we look for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • Light technical and mechanically inclined 
  • Passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job 
  • Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills. 
  • Self-starter with ability to eventually work independently 
  • Prioritize safety in all forms 
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license 

Preferred 

  • 1-2 years of trade school or college in a technical emphasis
