What you will do
Associate Service Engineer is a key role reporting directly to the Operations Team Lead/ Operations Manager, Aftermarket Security Segment and will be based in Dubai. The Aftermarket Security team carry out service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Building Technologies and Solutions including and not limited to CCTV Systems, Access Control System (ACS), Intercom Systems, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Systems, ACS related devices (gate barriers, bollards, flap barriers, turnstiles), Parking Management Systems and Parking Mentorship Systems
As an Associate Service Engineer, you will carry out all the activities related to site implementation of the Security system including and not limited to:

Customer relationship building.

Site co-ordination between Customer, Sub-contractor, Supervisor, field and office team.

Keeping track and implementing the scheduled planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.

Building and submitting the PPM and technical reports to the customer as per the JCI standards.

Driving the assigned L&M and POC job which includes testing and commissioning and providing timely progress report.

Submitting the required reports on time to the office team for invoicing the jobs.
You will be part of a team, where you will be exposed to a multifaceted environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project execution skills.
How you will do it
As an Associate Service Engineer you shall use your understanding of the operating principle of the various security systems and solutions to devise the accurate and safe control strategies. An excellent technical and analytical capability is a must to be able to carry out your daily tasks. You shall handle several different projects at all different stages of completion simultaneously and without compromising attention and quality on anyone. An ability to multi-task is key.
You will liaise with all concerned parties to ensure on-time reporting, transparency, and timely resolution of any kind of site related issues. Your work will have a high inclination towards technical aspect of the security management systems. While official training shall be provided, most of the learning shall happen on the field mainly in the form of self-study and seeking mentorship of experienced staff and technical support. Hence a self-learning proficiency is an absolute must.
You shall always demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and crafting handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by maintaining a high standard of safety yourself and sub-contractors.

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic stream or equivalent

Minimum 2 years’ experience with programming, installation, Commissioning & Servicing of Various Brands CCTV (Bosch Milestone, Pelco Endura & Video Expert, Exacq Vision, Hikvison, Wisenet, Victor Video Management Platforms) & Access Control systems (P2K, C CURE, CEM, Genetec applications), Intercom systems and ANPR

Confirmed technical knowledge and experience of working on Integration with Visitor Management, Intercoms, Fire, Bollards, Speed gates, Intrusion, Room booking and Facial Recognition systems

Shown technical knowledge and experience of working on high level Integration with Lifts

Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Thermal Cameras & Perimeter detectors

Proven technical knowledge and experience of networking and Microsoft SQL

Organize and effectively use technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all work you're doing

Provides solutions to others on very sophisticated system problems by either troubleshooting or advising how to resolve problems.

Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills. Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specifications used in installation activities

Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.

Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems. Keeps customer advised on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs

Conducts self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency. Completes all training and certifications as the need arises by the company

Ensures ultimate customer satisfaction levels with assigned customers

Experience in multi brand VMS, ACS, ANPR and intercom systems
