What you will do

Within our Johnson Controls Data Center Solutions, Silent-Aire designs, engineers, and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions.  In this role, you will oversee a team of receiving and/or warehouse employees and manage inbound and outbound materials. 

How you will do it

  • Supervise employees involved in loading and unloading materials, checking invoices, pulling stock, operating material handling equipment, and other warehouse and delivery duties.
  • Process materials for shipment by checking packing/label information and weighing material.
  • Maintain shipping records.
  • Maintain responsibility for securing and arranging the storage of stock and the pulling of stock for issue.
  • Manage a team of employees including hiring, training, scheduling shifts, reviewing performance, and providing feedback.
  • Perform other work as assigned.

What we look for

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 6+ years of inventory experience in a similar environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory and people management experience
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software (e.g. SAGE 300), and forecasting technique
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred:

  • Barcoding and barcoding inventory software experience
  • SAGE 300 experience
  • Experience in reading construction drawings and Bill of Materials.
  • Advanced Excel skills
