About this opportunity:

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Mechanical Team Leader to join our Team on the Sunshine Coast. The Mechanical Team Leader is a promising opportunity to provide leadership to a team of technicians on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance and repair of Mechanical plant, utilising knowledge of HVAC theory, pipe fitting, mechanical layouts and control systems.

  • Supporting day to day operations for breakdowns and contract servicing

  • Operational supervision and support for a team of Apprentices and HVAC Technicians

  • Contract management and associated deliverables

  • Quoting and small project management

  • System diagnostics of HVAC systems

  • Motivate the team to maintain and improve Customer Satisfaction

  • Meet with customer to review assignments and analyse problems

As a Team Leader you will handle ambiguity well and believe that the best work is done in teams. You manage multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills. You are intellectually curious – driving continual learning for you and your team.

You also understand that internal and external collaboration drives improvement and best practice. Above all, you are commercially driven and understand the need to deliver on targets, within acceptable risk profile and margin levels.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications

  • 5 + years related experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software

  • Relevant QLD License

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer focus
