Assist in the design, deploy, and support specific critical facility programs and/or projects as assigned. Lead Engineer for the site or Regional level operations of Critical Facilities (Data Center or Manufacturing Environment).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1.
1. Performs Engineering Management activities including contract management, resource identification and scheduling; coordination, execution, report processing, and customer satisfaction verification.

2. Performs customer interface activities including scheduling, reporting of findings and results.

3. Participates in and/or manages Project Site Audits and Risk Assessments.

4. Provides first level support of critical facility services applications.

5. Oversees implementation and deployment of advanced maintenance strategies for the purpose of risk mitigation.

6. Oversees training of site personnel or subcontractors on issues of data collection processes and procedures.

7. Documents and revises standards, processes, and associated forms associated with managing targeted KPI's.

8. Coordinates the performance of raised floor performance evaluations, including technical environmental audits, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

9. Ensures that all critical facilities are operated and maintained in accordance to customer availability requirements.

10. Executes Operational and Performance Risk Assessment.

11. Ensures industry standards in confidence testing are implemented and enforced.

12. Establishes process performance metrics; tracking, analyzing, and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.

13. Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contact requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards.

14. Supports CF Commissioning standards within the accounts.

15. May develop CF operation procedural documents from commissioning documentation and site drawings.

16. May operate all CF application tools and perform all analytical process within them.

17. May develop CF application reports and communicating results to accounts and their customers.

18. Manages application use, authorization levels, passwords, and application access.

19. Serves as primary contact for assigned customer base.
20. Coordinates and progresses audits of Specialized CF service/product delivery.
21. Assists in strategic planning activities with IT/IS and/or Corporate Real Estate organizations where appropriate.

22. Implements Critical Facility Management Program including Discovery Audit (Operational Gaps and Identified Risk and impact), Processes, Standards, Best Practices, Procedures, Training and Certification Process and specific CF applications, Technology Deployment and Implementation, and Continuous Improvement within supported applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten years experience or equivalent. Professional registration and license preferred. Minimum of five years of Project Management or Operations management experience in critical facilities. Must have exceptional communication skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Visio. Clear understanding of support strategies within mission critical facilities, Knowledge of Project Management, Industry Best Practices which relate to Critical Facility Management and Operations, Critical Facility commissioning process, and Familiarity with Industry Tier Classifications Codes and attribute tables. Understanding of relationship of technical strategies within a critical facility environment. Recognition of mission requirement and customer impact for critical facilities. Knowledge of procedures and customer requirements in critical facilities. Knowledge of building support systems needed to satisfy critical equipment environmental requirements,. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical distribution system support and equipment function. Knowledge of critical equipment operation and infrastructure support requirements. General knowledge of building control and monitoring schemes. Knowledge of Life Safety System. General knowledge of Energy Conservation Measures. Knowledge of CMMS Systems and Critical Work Order Process. Knowledge of Safety (OSHA) and Environmental (EPA) Compliance. Knowledge of redundancy levels and relation to operational risk.
