Responsible for utilizing all available technology in the design and or configuration of the building control systems including fire and security systems. Emphasis is on the creation of the lowest total installed cost-effective system that meets customer expectations. Mentors other application engineers and leads assigned engineering projects. May assist sales or estimating support in developing proper configurations and costs of complex systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, with 7 years of progressively more responsibility in the construction industry. May subsitute relevant experience.
Knowledge of cost control techniques, accounting principles, and inventory management.
