Primary Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the Advanced Battery Acceleration Team. Operates independently within the framework of Group and /or Corporate policies, procedures, and organization to provide secretarial and administrative support to team members. Applies judgment to solution of similar problems in order to relieve executive of routine detail
Primary Duties:
1. Respond quickly and appropriately to customer requests. 2. Responsible for formatting and typing communications which may be confidential and/or vital in nature.
3. Screen, arrange and maintain records of appointments; take and place phone calls; act as receptionist; make travel and hotel reservations.
4. Prepare material for discussion; compile and prepare special reports, presentations, or brochures, selecting pertinent data from various sources.
5. Arrange and organize large meetings and/or events as required.
6. Maintain teamwork relationship with Acceleration Team.
7. Open and sort executives' mail; answer all correspondence which does not require a personally dictated reply; assemble and summarize varied information and data before presenting to executive for action.
8. Devise clerical and administrative support procedures and controls for assigned areas of responsibility.
9. May organize and maintain confidential personal files. May update personnel records on manager's staff. May maintain follow-up files.Create and submit for payment travel expense reports.Overtime is required to meet internal and external customer requirements.
10. Performs other administrative and statistical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* The Advanced Battery Acceleration Team is leading the organization's efforts to build a brand new industry to support the electrification of vehicles for the US and global markets. The initial structure will be highly flexible and the work environment demanding and ambiguous. The team will need someone who will be comfortable working in this environment, yet bring structure and order to the team.

* Must be proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), must have excellent organization skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask. Great customer service skills, attention to detail, and strengths in interpersonal and written communication.
*
* Comfort in dealing with senior level executives.
*
* As such it is unlikely that this person will have less than 10 years experience in a results-oriented organization.
Education:
High school diploma (or GED) required. Associates degree preferred.
