JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for performing a variety of functions to move supplies, materials, and equipment to and from receiving, shipping, storage areas, and to all warehouse areas. Specific duties include:
* Packing/unpacking materials; weighing and placing proper postage on packages or cartons.
* Receive and distribute mail.
* Maintaining records of receipt and/or release of material.
* Receiving, counting, visually inspecting, and verifying parts numbers on supplies, material, and equipment.
* Working from freight bills and packing lists from incoming trucks to process supplies, materials and equipment.
* Maintaining shipping and receiving in a clean and orderly condition.
* Assist in office duties.
Qualifications
1. Knowledge and ability to work safely.
2. Must be able to perform very repetitive work.
3. High school diploma or equivalent
4. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs up to 30 times per hour.
5. Must be able to interact with customers while delivering packages, and obtaining signatures.
6. Must be able to navigate Windows Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
7. Able to work as member of a team.
8. High standards of character.
