In this position, the Software Technical Lead leads the day-to-day software development activities of a software project in JCI Electronics. The position primarily involves technical leadership and execution, but also includes requirements management and team leadership. The balance of time spent in each of these areas is dependent on project dynamics. The STL is responsible for the project software, including technical assessment, feasibility, architecture, schedule adherence, delivery, change management, issue resolution, establishment of development priorities, process adherence, and risk management for the software project.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* BS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
* 7+ years of experience in software development
* Sound Technical skills required
* Project Management skills
* Requirements Management skills, Leadership abilities, Risk Management skills a plus
* Automotive / Embedded Development / RTOS backgrounds preferred.
