Under general supervision, evaluate, select and apply standard programming and/or technology principles and techniques to assigned business problems; perform Oracle production support and new development; analyze impact of changes on existing information products and/or systems; analyze cost effectiveness and feasibility of design; design, develop, and test codes; investigate and correct bugs; prepare functional specifications, technical designs and updates to existing technical documentation; develop new interfaces to feed external systems data to Oracle Project modules; develop Custom Application Forms in Oracle projects; develop and customize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and database views; perform code reviews; code PL/SQL interfaces; prepare forms, reports and test cases for Unit and System Integration testing; identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices and integration issues, and suggest solutions; develop interface to load tasks into Oracle projects; provide day to day support and troubleshooting of user and application problems; perform code review and refinement to code design to improve system response time and efficiency. Utilize Oracle (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Toad 7.x/8.x/9.x), Oracle ERP Application Modules, Operating Systems (Windows, MSDOS, UNIX, SunSolaris, HP-UNIX), and PeopleSoft HRMS.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent and commensurate experience.
